  9. Family Pottery (7+)

    April 2, 2017 - June 11, 2017, All Day @ Brambleton Center

    INTRODUCING-The Family Pottery class. Many parents are as interested in pottery as their children. In this class, work side by side with your child, learning how to hand build with clay and work on the potter's wheel. The fee includes one bag of clay, glazes and the use of tools. An adult must register with a child. $95 per person $190 for both. Eight weeks. Instructor: Rebecca McKeever.

  10. Kids Pottery (Ages 7-17)

    Let your child experience the excitement of working in clay as Professional Potter, Rebecca McKeever, brings out their creative side. The student will learn to design pieces out of slabs of clay along with learning coiling and pinch techniques. For students with the physical ability to do wheel work, the lessons will be centering, pulling and shaping clay. The fee includes one bag of clay, glazes and the use of tools. Eight week course.

    April 3, 2017 - June 12, 2017, All Day @ Brambleton Center

    The Brambleton Center offers a well equipped studio to create original works of clay in both wheel and freeform. Equipment includes 13 electric wheels, a slab roller, and an assortment of tools and accessories for shaping and sculpting the clay. A variety of glazes are mixed in the studio offering about 23 colors. Class fee also includes utilizing the studio on your own during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the 10 week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds. Saturday will be an open workshop opportunity for those currently registered in a Pottery class. All pottery classes are ten week programs.
