2018 New Benefits

Last fall, Green Ridge members were invited to take a comprehensive survey. Approximately 15% of our membership households participated, providing great feedback about our programs and services. Compared to previous years, our survey showed a small positive change in overall satisfaction, and a large positive change in cleanliness. We’re glad you’ve seen some progress, and will continue to work on improving the way we serve our guests!

Here are a few specific improvements underway based on your feedback:

  • Modified Hours of Operation (Beginning May 14, 2018) – In recent years, we’ve had a significant amount of requests for additional operating hours and pool hours. These requests have come from current members, prospective members and cancellation surveys. Survey data indicates a preference for remaining open later on weekends and opening earlier on weekdays. We will be changing our schedule in a way that meets these needs and adds pool time to the schedule, with minimal impact to our total weekly hours.

    *Since opening in 2010, the indoor pool has typically been closed weekdays from 1pm to 4pm. Last year we tested out opening afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday, but have had very few pool users during this time. Effective January 1, 2018 we returned to closing the pool M-F from 1pm to 4pm. However, most of this change is offset by the addition of pool hours on weekday mornings and weekend evenings. 

  • Member Guest Admission Program – Have a family member in town, or trying to recruit a friend to join? Our survey indicated that the vast majority of our members would like to receive guest passes for additional membership value. Beginning January 2, each member household can request up to 10 guest admissions per year. Simply ask the front desk to have them placed on your account. You must be present with your guest to redeem the admission (Limit one set of 10 per household, per year based on activation date).

  •  Wellness Workshop Series – Among the most requested new programs on our survey, members asked for more health and wellness based classes. New in 2018, we're adding a workshop series focused on wellness, nutrition and exercise tips. Each 45-minute workshop will feature a different guest expert. Just $5 for members ($8 for non-members).   • Tactical Locker Scheduled Workouts – More than half of those surveyed expressed interest in purchasing an add-on to your membership involving small group workouts. Now for a small fee, you will be able to schedule workout times on specified days at the tactical locker to enhance your exercise regimen with the most comprehensive functional training system available! A trainer will be on site to help answer your questions and ensure proper technique for the best results. Just $5 for members ($8 for non-members). Learn more about this program online here.

  • Party Zone & Family Programs – When asked to rank the importance of various services at Green Ridge, our highest ranked category was children’s activities, games and programs.  New in 2018, we added Party Zone, a parent’s night out drop-off program offered the second Friday of January, February and March. Members will receive a 50% discount off this program, at a cost of just $10 for multiple hours of care.  We’ll continue to develop more family related services and provide added value through engaging programs.  Reserve your space in our next Party Zone on May 11.

  • Equipment/Facility – Overall satisfaction with our equipment and facilities ranked quite well. New in 2018, we plan to install a water bottle filler in the wellness area based on your requests.

  • More Splash Valley Discounts - New this year, Green Ridge members get an additional $2 off daily admission to Splash Valley Water Park every Thursday. We're also continuing deep discounts of $25 off each individual season pass purchase.

    PLEASE NOTE: Our monthly membership rates will be increasing by $2 per month beginning July 1, 2018. This small change will help offset increased operating expenses. We look forward to continuing to provide a quality recreation experience for our members.

     ** A maximum of 8 family members may be included on a membership.  Adult children up to age 25 may be included on a family membership if they are enrolled as a full-time college student.  Proof of enrollment is required.
