    Your child will learn developmentally appropriate basics of ballet, tap, acrobatics, and creative movement, while learning numbers, colors, shapes, words and songs. There is an annual sign-up fee for Kinderdance® of $30 to be paid each year upon starting classes. Choose the fee with $30 added to it to pay your sign-up fee when first registering on or after September 2019. Each month following, you will no longer need to pay the sign-up fee. Instruction provided by Kinderdance® staff. All dancers will be given their class uniform and proper footwear on the first day of class.

  3. Spring Sports Sampler! (Ages 3-4)

    Indoor Soccer, Basketball and Indoor T-Ball! For the beginner athlete! This program will center on learning the beginning skills of each sport and good sportsmanship in a non-competitive, fun environment. Kids have a chance to learn the fundamentals of soccer through kicking, passing, dribbling and fun skill drills. Kids will learn basketball through passing, dribbling, shooting and fun skill drills. In T-ball they will learn skills to help with throwing and hitting the ball off of a tee with drills and running the bases. This skill development program will run for 9 weeks, the first three weeks will be soccer, then three weeks of basketball and end with t-ball. By the third week of each skill, we will put it all together for them to play in a group with teams. This program is introductory of each sport so therefore formalized games with teams will only be introduced and not competitive. Each player will receive a t-shirt, trophy and team picture at the end of the program.

    Celebrate your child's independence in the water. This is the first class that we offer that have children in the water without a caregiver. Your child may be a beginner or already comfortable in the water. Regardless, they will learn to float, kick and become proficient with arm strokes. Rolling over and treading water will be introduced. Submerging is a big part of this class since swimming requires being able to put your face in the water! If they are more advanced they will be expected to swim more independently and with less support from the instructor.

In addition, they will participate in a safety lesson each lesson that will encourage them to be safe around all aquatic environments. Safety lessons are ever present in order to ensure our participant's safety around all water environments. Fun is not forgotten either!

When a participant passes Level 3 they will have achieved basic water competency skills according to the new American Red Cross standards. Safety lessons become more in depth and cover more topics.

    Taekwondo classes at Green Ridge are designed to teach martial arts and fitness in a structured but fun environment. We help kids develop a focused mind, a coordinated body, a courteous nature, and a positive attitude. Kids, teens, and adults alike will improve fitness and coordination while learning self-defense skills that help build confidence and focus. Students can sign up individually or have the whole family try together. Fee is per person. Instructors Cameron and Sarah Starnes have years of experience and are 2nd degree blackbelts. No uniform required-wear comfortable clothes. In addition to martial arts instruction, emphasized will be the five tenets of taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit.

    Make an upcycled clock from an old vinyl record album and two coasters using special paint pouring techniques. Additional projects will be completed as well. Familiarity with paint pouring is suggested but not required. This 2 week class allows for paint drying time before sealing the projects with a special resin coating.     Want a dog who listens better? In this basic training course, dog parents will learn how to best communicate with their dogs in order to teach them good manners. Positive reinforcement training methods are used to teach the following behaviors: touch, look, sit, down, stand, come, settle, wait, take it, loose-leash walking, plus more. Other topics include parent separation, agility exercises, impulse control, and canine communication. Dogs must complete either Puppy Kindergarten or be at least 6 months old.   30. Canine Good Citizen Certification (Ages 18+)

    Don't we all want our dogs to be Canine Good Citizens? Well, we can help make that happen! During this six week course, we focus on the ten skills needed by all well-mannered dogs as outlined in the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen Program. The CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community while stressing responsible pet ownership. The CGC test is administered on the last day of class, and all dogs who pass will receive a certificate from the AKC. Instruction provided by High Hopes Dog Training.(Pre-requisite: Dogs must have graduated from Intermediate Obedience or have had private lessons with High Hopes.)

    Would you like to give back to your community by volunteering with your dog? Therapy Dogs are used in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehab and long-term care facilities, schools, libraries, Veteran care programs, and many other facilities. During this six week course, we practice advanced behaviors necessary for you and your dog to interact in the community with different types of people in different environments. Your dog must have his or her Canine Good Citizen title to participate.

    Indoor Soccer, Basketball and Indoor T-Ball! For the beginner athlete! This program will center on learning the beginning skills of each sport and good sportsmanship in a non-competitive, fun environment. Kids have a chance to learn the fundamentals of soccer through kicking, passing, dribbling and fun skill drills. Kids will learn basketball through passing, dribbling, shooting and fun skill drills. In T-ball they will learn skills to help with throwing and hitting the ball off of a tee with drills and running the bases. This skill development program will run for 9 weeks, the first three weeks will be soccer, then three weeks of basketball and end with t-ball. By the third week of each skill, we will put it all together for them to play in a group with teams. This program is introductory of each sport so therefore formalized games with teams will only be introduced and not competitive. Each player will receive a t-shirt, trophy and team picture at the end of the program.

    Celebrate your child's independence in the water. This is the first class that we offer that have children in the water without a caregiver.     Don't we all want our dogs to be Canine Good Citizens? Well, we can help make that happen! During this six week course, we focus on the ten skills needed by all well-mannered dogs as outlined in the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen Program. The CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community while stressing responsible pet ownership. The CGC test is administered on the last day of class, and all dogs who pass will receive a certificate from the AKC.
