    Would you like your child to learn a sport they will be able to play for the rest of their life? If so, send them to a series of weekly one day clinics led by PGA Golf professionals from local golf courses where they will learn the proper fundamentals needed to begin playing golf. The clinics will focus on learning the grip, swing, putting, chipping, golf etiquette, and life skills. Campers are required to bring their own age appropriate equipment to camp. A limited number of prearranged loaner sets are available for free by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department.

The clinics will focus on learning the grip, swing, putting, chipping, golf etiquette, and life skills. Campers are required to bring their own age appropriate equipment to camp. A limited number of prearranged loaner sets are available for free by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department.

All instructors are certified by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF) and have undergone a certification program referred to as BAI, ‘Basic Archery Instructor.’ All registrants must have taken Archery Level 1 in Summer 2021 or Summer 2022 to be able to participate. Please note that this program will focus on the skills of archery, not hunting.
