  2. Never Stop Moving (Ages 55+)

    Begin your morning with this low impact fitness class, designed to blend standing and seated exercises to improve endurance, strength and balance. The class will increase heart rate through gentle exercises and will end with seated poses to improve flexibility and posture.     An internal martial art that emphasizes breathing and gentle continuous movements to help reduce stress and build strength. Also known for improving balance and joint health by slow, mindful, low-impact movements. Classes will focus on standing meditation, gentle flowing movements (Qigong), balance work, and learning the 24 Form. No extra equipment is needed and all postures and exercises will be done standing. Ten week program Instructor: TBD.

    Three classes in ONE workshop! Learn how to knit in the round (hats, cowls), flat panels (scarves, blankets) and the three most common double knit stitches which can be used to create hats, cowls, scarves, and blankets! This intense but EASY workshop will provide experience casting on and binding off, the four knit stitches as well as the purl stitch. All supplies including lots of printed notes are provided.
