Improve muscle tone, reduce stress, and learn relaxation techniques. No need to get on the floor; no experience necessary.     Let’s show our flying and mostly nocturnal friends some love on International Bat Appreciation day! Join our park naturalist for a fun and educational program about bats! Using a variety of hands-on activities, learn about these fascinating and often misunderstood creatures of the night! Families will get to be BAT science research teams and discover many of the bat’s secrets! Children must be accompanied by a registered/paid adult. Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.

    Do the smart thing and know before you go! Gain the confidence and knowledge to take on new adventures with this hands-on course. You will learn fundamental outdoor living skills that emphasize sustainability and environmental ethics. Topics will include: trip planning, gear selection, nutrition and food storage, navigation (including map and compass usage), basic survival techniques, and more. All necessary equipment provided. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
