    If you've wanted to try yoga, but feel you can't get up and down easily, this class is for you! Improve balance, posture, coordination, & memory. Improve muscle tone, reduce stress, and learn relaxation techniques. No need to get on the floor; no experience necessary. Instructor: Patricia Placona, a 200-e RYT, Restorative Yoga Certified Instructor. Class does not meet on 5/29.

  1. Wildflower Hike (Ages 5+)

    April 24, 2021, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Explore Park

    Nothing says spring like ephemeral wildflowers! Join our park naturalist for a hike along the Roanoke River to look for wildflowers and other signs of nature awakening in the new season! Participants will each get a wildflower checklist and the opportunity to make a wildflower “seed bomb” to take home and use in their own yard! Children must be accompanied by a registered/paid adult. Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.
