  1. Turtles (Ages 5+)

    May 22, 2021, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Explore Park

Turtles are the cool reptiles that are at home no matter where they go! Join our park naturalist to learn all about the different turtles that call SW Virginia their home. We will examine some shells, find out what makes a reptile, and learn about their life cycles. Participants will get to paint their own paper mâché turtle and hopefully we can persuade one of our park turtles to spend the afternoon with us! Children must be accompanied by a registered/paid adult. Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.
