After School Programs

Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism is one of the area's largest providers of youth enrichment year round!

During the School Year

While school is in session, we operate an after school program on-site at 13 Roanoke County elementary schools. After School for Kids is an enrichment program for grades K-5 offering daily age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social emotional and cognitive development. At Green Ridge Recreation Center, our Ridge Kids after school program is open to grades K-5, with transportation from Glen Cove elementary school.
