Explore Park Facilities are also a unique location for parties, anniversary dinners, baby showers, bridal showers, and retirement celebrations. There are no catering or event planner restrictions.
The Arthur Taubman Center features a large central room with a fireplace, built-in wooden bar, and a spacious windowed walk-through area that leads to the inviting outdoor deck with views of the parks natural surroundings. Off the central room is an additional room that features a pull down screen for multi-media presentations. Bathrooms are also located on this level.
The Blue Ridge Room in the Explore Park Visitor Center is the perfect spot for a corporate meeting or family gathering for up to forty guests! The Explore Park Visitor Center also features a gift shop, Blue Ridge Parkway Museum, ample bathroom facilities and convenient parking. The Blue Ridge Room rents for $300.00 for a half day (up to four hours) or $550.00 for a full day (up to eight hours).
The Explore Park Visitor Center can also be rented off-season, when the facility is closed to the public, for a business or community evening gathering! Your exclusive ten-hour rental would include the Blue Ridge Room, Visitor Center welcome area and Blue Ridge Parkway Museum.
