Thank you for your interest in participating as a food vendor in Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism's 25th annual Kite Festival.
Please complete and submit the form below. Applications will be accepted until January 28th. You will be notified of your acceptance status on or before January 30th.

Please let us know what space you need for your entire set up, minus any vehicles used for transport or restocking as they will not be allowed next to your set up.
Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism will not be held responsible for any damage or loss. Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism has the right to use images of any artwork submitted for display to help promote the event.
Food vendors (who cook on site) must contact Brian Simmons, Roanoke County Fire Marshal at (540) 777-8721 for a yearly inspection PRIOR to the event.
Health Department: Based on a policy established in 2025, food vendors must either submit proof of permit or a temporary event permit application to our team at least 10 days prior to the event.
Business License/Meals Tax: If you have a business license outside of Roanoke County and have been in business for less than two years, payment of the meals tax is required.
Vendors will not be allowed to roam the field selling their products. Vendors are responsible for utilizing the trash receptacles provided and to clean up after themselves.
Submittal of this form does NOT guarantee selection for participation in the Kite Festival.
The deadline for this application is January 28th. You will be contacted by January 30th with approval status.
