ACE Summer Camp

Special Needs Summer Camp 

Activities Created for Enrichment (ACE) is designed for children ages 5-21 years old who have severe or profound developmental disabilities. 

Program Schedule

ACE Summer Camp programming includes full-week sessions from June to August, with drop-off / pick-up times being scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Activities include arts, crafts, games, music, movements, swimming, and field trips. 


Staff to participant ration is 1:1 through 1:4, and each staff member has been screened, trained especially for this camp, and has experience with kids who have disabilities. 


ACE is funded through a purchase of service agreement through Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism; the City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation; and the City of Salem Parks and Recreation. 


STEP 1 - A current year Roanoke County Health Form is required for all summer camp participants.

STEP 2 -
Register for the program and days of your choice by one of the following methods.

  • Complete a Registration Form - Follow this link to the A.C.E. Registration form and return it to us by email or in person at Brambleton Center.
  • Call us at (540) 772-7529 ext. 2 or visit the Brambleton Center at 3738 Brambleton Ave SW 24018

Fee: $135 per week or $30 a day (includes all materials, supplies, activities, and two field trips).

Deposit: A deposit of $25 per week is required to hold your child’s spot and will be applied to the total weekly fee due.
